Ashley Began his training at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Whilst there he appeared in Carmen Jones at the Old Vic and Carousel at the Royal National Theatre.

At Sixteen he was accepted on a scholarship to the Arts Educational School in London on their 3 year musical theatre course where he graduated in 1999 as the recipient of the Ned Sherrin Award. Theatre includes: High Heel Parrot Fish "Betty"; The Bombitty of Errors "Dromio of Syracuse"; Gutted "Frankie/ Moses/ Angelica"; Little Shop of Horrors "Seymour"; Fame; The Ruffian on the Star "Wilson" and Big Boys.

TV includes: Ultimate Force; Mysti; Holby City; Bard 2 Verse; Hevie Revie; William & Mary; London’s Burning and There’s Something About Him.
